TABLE OF CONTENTS

Who can access the dashboard

Inventory dashboard is accessible for users of the group FSM BP Managers.

Dashboard Tabs

The Inventory Dashboard includes several tabs:

  • BOM contains the list of Bill of Materials, related Material Purchases and Inventory transactions.
  • Inventory Balance shows the list of materials that are available in each of the warehouses.
  • Materials tab displays all material items pulled from Material List reference.
  • Utilization — consumption of materials.

BOM

Here, on the tab, we display Bill of Materials details for all active Build Plans and for BPs closed in the last 3 months.

Which BPs are available depends on the assigning to Employee Role "BOM Manager" and the Employee's relationship to the Build Plan.

The Employee is related to a BP if he is:

  • a Build Plan Owner
  • or a Project Owner
  • or a member of Project Role with finance access
  • or has a Employee Role "All Direct Cost BPs Financials" or "Full Financial".

So, you can see all BPs related to you and filtered by Class, if the Class filter is applied for the roles BOM Manager, Advanced BOM Manager.

Inventory Balance

On the Inventory tab, you can view the balance of material stock in warehouses. Here we take the information from Inventory Transactions Entries. To check the materials balance for the exact day, use the appropriate filter by date. In this case, we take all Inventory Transaction Entries before the date you specify.

Open the material ITJs and navigate to related pending or kitted BOMs.

You can also check the Warehouse inventory balance on the Office/Warehouse Location card using the action "View Current Balance".

Materials

Materials tab is a handy tool for viewing the list of all material that is in the system. It obtains the data from the Material List reference.

All key material information is available. As usual, use server and quick filters to find desired materials.

If Material QTY is equal to 0, it means that there are no transactions.

Utilization

Switch to the Utilization tab to keep track of how materials are being used:

  • QTY Actual — the material balance in a particular warehouse.
  • Average Daily Balance for last 12 months. Here we calculate QTY actual on each day of the last 365 days, then count the average value.
  • Average QTY Kitted — the average QTY of material that kitted per BOM.
  • # of Kitted BOMS - the total of BOMs on the Kitted stage.
  • Average QTY Purchased — the average QTY of material that purchased per Material Purchase Request.
  • # of Purchases — the total of Material Purchase Requests for the material.
  • QTY Used — the amount of material that used within the timeframe. To calculate used QTY we take all PULL ITEs for the last 30 days, 6 months, 1 year.
