What is the Build Plans Dashboard

The Build Plans Dashboard is a tool that provides a comprehensive summary of all activities and financial aspects related to Build Plans. It shows you how the Build Plan is progressing, both operationally and financially.

Access to the Dashboard

To access the Build Plans Dashboard, participation in the All Users user group is required. Once you are a member of this group, the Build Plans Dashboard will appear in your list of available dashboards, allowing you to view and manage the relevant data.

Understanding Build Plans Access on the Dashboard

The default dashboard view displays all active Build Plans (BPs). To view the status of closed Build Plans, use the server filter by BP State.

The list of Build Plans you see depends on your relationship to each Build Plan. You are considered related to a Build Plan if you meet any of the following criteria:

Criteria for Being Related to a Build Plan

• You are a Build Plan (BP) Owner.
• You are a Project Owner.
• You are a member of a Project Role.
• You are an employee allowed to allocate time in a BP.
• You a dispatched employee: The employee is included in at least one dispatch related to an Build Plan.
• You are assigned the role Field Manager - All Direct Cost BPs, which grants open access to all non-overhead BPs (note: a BP’s scenario is considered non-overhead).

Accessing Build Plan Financial Information

Your visibility of Build Plans’ financial information depends on your specific roles.

Important: You must be included in the FSMFinancial user group to access financial data.

Role-Based Access to Build Plans Financials

• BP Owner

You will see all Build Plans where you are the owner.

• Project Owner

You have access to all Build Plans associated with your project.

• Member of Project Role with Financial Access Rights:

If your project role has the active checkbox "has financial access rights," you can access Build Plans where you participate.

• Employee Role: All Direct Cost BPs Financials

This role grants access to all Direct Cost Build Plans.

• Employee Role: Full Financial

This role provides advanced access to all Build Plans, including both direct cost and overhead BPs.
