Clone Time Cards

TABLE OF CONTENTS

THe Time Keeping Administrator can clone any Employee Time Cards. The TC Card has the following options: Clone Allocation From and Clone Allocation To.

Clone From is used to create a Time Card for the particular Employee and copy all Time Card details from the selected Employee's Time Card.

Clone To is designed to create Time Cards based on the selected Time Card. For example, copy Crew Lead's Time Cards for Crew Members.

Details copied in a Time Card:

  • Payroll allocation table (wage type, cost type, allocated WOs, hours, PW, State)
  • Non-Wage table (payroll item, WO, QTY)
  • Reason
  • Lunch applied indicator
  • Lunch applied amount

All actions with Time Cards are recorded in history as usual.

How it works

Clone Allocation To

1. Open the Time Card you want to copy.

2. Click on "Clone Allocation To".

3. Select Crew Members or any Employees to create Time Cards for them cloned from the opened Time Card.

4. The system creates Time Cards. If you do not set "autocomplete without review" you should review TCs and manually complete them.

If you undo changes once TC is opened, TC details (payroll, non-wage table, reason and so on) won't be filled in.

Clone Time Card To in TCR Interface

Note that if you are working in the web version of TCR Interface, you still have to log on to the FCX desktop to perform "Clone To" action.
The Clone option may not appear in the TCR interface if it is disabled on your instance.

Clone Allocation From

1. Create a Time Card manually through Time Cards reference or open an existing one that you want to edit.

2. Click on "Clone Allocation From".

3. Select the Time Card to pull in all allocation data.

4. Review the updated TC, save and complete it.
