How Do I Fix Wrong Photo Taken / Uploaded to Wrong Item?

If a photo was taken under the wrong Checklist Item, or manually uploaded there, you have a few options.

Question 1: Do you need a photo under that Checklist Item for your COP?

  • IF you do not, you can just mark it as “Do Not Submit.”
  • IF you DO need the photo, we want to replace the wrong photo with the right photo.

Question 2: Can you just retake the missing photo, or is it stored elsewhere?

  • IF you can just retake it, do that, and you’ll see the correct photo is added as the latest and active Version.
  • IF you need to pull the photo over from somewhere else, you can do this from the Reviewer Interface.

As a Reviewer, you can manually insert an appended photo to a Checklist Item.

How Do I Manually Upload / Insert Photo as Reviewer?

To do this:

  • Right-click a Checklist Item and click “Upload Result.”
  • Select the file and confirm to upload it.
  • When a reviewer manually adds a photo in the dashboard, it creates a new Item with an index like “#.2”
    • This is similar to what happens when a field user appends an ad-hoc photo to an Item in the Mobile App.
  • To retire the original Checklist Item in the Review Interface, you will want to mark it “Do Not Submit”.
