You can create a Task List to apply it to several Build Plans by default, or add a Build Plan-specific Task.

Use the Build Plan Task lists reference to create a task list. To generate a task for a particular Build Plan, open this BP in any convenient way (in dashboards like Status, Daily, or through the Build Plans reference), then go to the Tasks tab.

Create Task List

Create a Task List and link the List with Project Scenario. All Build Plans generated for this Project Scenario will include this Task List by default. 

1. Open Build Plan Task Lists Reference and create a new record.

2. Create a Task for the Task List.

Task Source can vary: 

1. Task List Name, when task was created inside Task List.
2. Build Plan Name, when task was created inside a certain Build Plan.

Copy Tasks

Create Task through Build Plan

Open Build Plan Card in any way: 

1. Using dashboards. For example, open the Daily dashboard and switch to the Tasks tab. 
2. With the Build Plan reference: BP card → Details → Tasks tab.

New Task

Add a new Build Plan Task. This task is associated with the current BP.

Copy Tasks

Copy Tasks from the different Task List or Build Plan. The logic of copy tasks is the same as in “Copy Tasks” action in Task List. See above.

Edit Tasks

Click to view Build Plan Task records. Open required record and make changes.
