How to send Update at end of day
Open Work Orders Module → select the scheduled Work Order (Dispatch) on the "My Schedule" screen → on the Work Order summary screen, click on:
- BP Progress Update — to send the percentage of estimated BP completion and to complete Build Plan Tasks.
- Daily Report — to provide daily report on the scheduled WO.
BP Progress Update
Field Workers can see Current % and Budgeted/Actual Hrs.
In mobile app, on a BP’s % completion estimation screen, the system shows:
- Latest % complete reported
- Budgeted In-House Field Labor Hrs
- Consumed In-House Field Labor Hrs to-date
- Build Plan tasks if they are defined and enabled for the Build Plan
More details of BP hours can be viewed on Desktop.
The "Send Update" slider is a custom feature. It is possible to disable this option on your request. In this case, the "BP send update" screen will only have the part with BP tasks available.
Daily Report
Open the details of the scheduled WO and click on Daily Report to send daily progress notes.
Work Order options
You can send a COD request if you have the mobile role "Allow COD Requests", and the "Allow Material Requests" role to create BOMs, respectively.
Completion of a WO does not automatically move BP to 100%.
There is a simple reason for this: FCX is designed to allow any number, variety or combination of WOs, including dispatch WOs one might want for a Site.
For example: You could have the following WOs all active under one BP at the same time:
- Desktop WOs (AP, AR, PM, COP team, etc.)
- Site walk
- Electrician (sub or in-house)
- Civils
- Tower-top
If one marks the “Tower-top” WO “Complete”, what does that mean for % completion? Are you 50% done, 30%, 20%?
This is why we left it to the crew (whichever is deployed most recently) to estimate the % complete of the entire Site, including work which might be done on another day, on different equipment, or even by another team.
