Rules About BP-Allocation

A Build Plan is not open to Allocation from Anyone. There are 2 ways to make a BP available for an Employee:

1. BP’s Project Role Assignees can allocate their clocked-in time to a BP. Project Roles, predefined per Project Scenario, are assigned to Employees during Generation of a new BP (GBP).
2. Employees specified in the BP “Allowed Allocation Employee” Table are granted access to allocate their worked time to this BP.

Add Ad Hoc Employees to BP Allowed Allocation Employee Table

Non-Project Role Assignees can be granted access to allocate if they are added to the Allowed Allocation table on the General tab of the BP card.

To do this:

1. Access the Build Plans Reference. Use Quick Launch.

2. Locate a desired BP.

You can do this via Quick Filter search on BP#, for example.

3. Open BP Card and add allowed-to-allocate Employee to BP table.
