Customers, Vendors, and a few handy extras

Hello,

We’re continuing our series of updates on CIM and VIM. This round is mainly about Customers and Vendors — plus a few small, useful fixes elsewhere.

All of this is already live in the Fieldclix web portal.

New Customers and Vendors dashboards (web)

Two new web dashboards give you a straight path into the company libraries:

  • CIM → Customers  Companies you bill (used in Build Plans, Sales Orders, CIM invoices)

  • VIM → Vendors  Companies you buy from (used in VIM invoices, POs, materials, COD, inventory)

Why use them: one place to browse the full library, search and filter, save views, export, create (ADD CUSTOMER / ADD VENDOR), and open any record without hunting through related documents first.

Web cards: from the dashboard (or from a Build Plan, invoice, PO, and so on) you open a Customer or Vendor card in the portal — view details, edit when you have rights, and save. Make everyday library work easy.

Who opens the library dashboards: Accountant and Bookkeeper or Project Library Manager. Others can still open a Customer or Vendor card from a related record they already can access (e.g. a Build Plan).

P&L Summary charts

On P&L Statement → Summary (dashboard or Build Plan P&L tab):

  • If the statement has Service Item rows, a bar chart compares revenue and expenses by Service Item

Same numbers as the table — easier to scan at a glance.

Other small updates

  • VIM PO templates — Project is optional. Use shared templates (no Project) or templates for your Project.

  • Header buttons in FCX Web Portal — Knowledge Base opens support articles; Ask AI opens a chat with Felix (our AI agent).

  • VIM email capture — smarter vendor matching (name, domain, invoice cues). If it’s unclear, Vendor may stay empty for you to confirm in Review.

  • Time Card Review — leaner action dialog: fewer clicks to approve cards or reassign a reviewer.

Take care,

The Fieldсlix Team
