How It Handles Costs

The main principle is Internal Priority—your internal rate rules lead, especially on prevailing wage work.

• It uses your costs based on your Internal Pay Rate Schedule and Time Card hours.

•  Helps to keep the project “burden”: see below for how we apply a burden to the pay rate.

• It bypasses external paycheck totals for key items like BHR, fringe, and training, which prevents unexpected swings.

• Any positive difference between synced payroll and internal calculations is written off as overhead, keeping your job costs clean.

• As before, while a payroll is open, a rolling 6-month average is used so that your live reports are reasonable until the final sync.
